As a freelance design professional I take great pride in the work that I am part of. I am a creative, reliable, hard-working Graphic Designer / Front End Developer that can work well in a collaborative team environment or individually with over 15 years of experience. I work well with clients and consider myself a strong communicator, and listener. I believe I am an asset to ensure the media is integrated across multiple platforms and only the best solution reaches the clients.
Over the last couple of years I have been working as a Front End Developer in a Publishing environment and Production Artist in a marketing and communications studio. There, and as a freelance designer I have honed my skills working on various print and web projects. I am proficient with all industry-standard software (InDesign, Photoshop, etc.), HTML5 and CSS3 as well as Wordpress and Joomla, and willing to learn new applications if required. I also have extensive knowledge of preflighting files, prepress and the offset printing process as well as digital printing requirements.

At one of the largest printers in Canada, I was a member on a team that would preflight supplied files for various print publications, including Scholastic (books) and Color (magazine). We also prepared files for mailers, posters and calendars, working heavily with 4-colour process, spot colours and die cuts.
